Bellevue High School's DANCE!

On September 25, 2009, Bellevue High School had a school dance. But this dance was a little different from the dances most high schools have. This dance, called appropriately DANCE!!, featured 3 hours of electronic music and Seattle's very own Hyperfunk, with lasers from Tyler and VJ Maneki Neko doing visuals. DANCE!! included more than 500 kids, one of the largest attendances ever at a Bellevue High School non-formal dance.

Dance All Night NW would like to congratulate Hyperfunk and Infectious Entertainment on their success with this event. They brought electronic music successfully to a younger generation without drugs or skimpy clothing, and kids learned about electronic music in a structured atmosphere.

While Dance All Night NW was created for the mature EDM scene, we fully support ventures that educate youth and bring electronic music to them through structured avenues where they are safe and positively guided in directions that can shape the future and integrity of our culture.

Hands up to all the individuals who helped put this event on and make it a success. You are the true pioneers helping to shape the future for our scene, our EDM culture, and our kids. Share this
