What is WIN and why does it have the symbol \o/ next to it?

The box shows up at the bottom of each forum topic.
WIN is a kudos widget for forum topics. Clicking it gives kudos to the poster who posted the topic, and works exactly like the "I agree" button does for topic replies. You cannot give kudos to yourself, and you can only give kudos once per post, but you can also remove it if you decide you gave kudos in error. Giving kudos improves a member's point score on the website. Members can also get kudos points for posting news items that get published. This is one tiny way that we recognize the efforts of our community. The top point earners, or those with the most kudos, are displayed in the left column on the front page, under the navigation menu. However, only registered members can see it, so you need to register or login to see who is the top point earner.

The \o/ symbol represents a person's head and hands in the air. Rah!

Extra info:
Aside from showing the amount of kudos a member might be getting, points are non-conclusive and do not result in anything other than front page recognition. In other words, the entire system is completely useless. However, everyone deserves a little recognition for a job well done, so that's what kudos are all about.
