NUMBERNIN6 - Richmond, VA // Migration, SubHUMAN, Sour Grapes, Z-Audio
(Dubstep)
At the start of the new decade, trance-turned-dubstep producer Nishant Parikh aka NumberNin6 is patiently waiting.
With his remix of Prodigy’s “Breathe,” NumberNin6 has firmly placed himself on the map in the dubstep universe. His sound quickly garnered the support of dubstep giants like Skream, Rusko, N-Type, Plastician, Reso, Nero, Bassnectar, Bar9, and BBC Radio1 DJs Mistjam and Annie Mac. With his extensive background in trance production, Nishant’s approach to dub is one with a different angle than most of his fellow producers. Meticulously lacing screaming distorted basslines with haunting melodies and lush, layered soundscapes, NumberNin6 manages to blend together a seemingly dichotomous array of sounds: melodious yet menacing; mellow yet aggressive. Armed with some of the most exclusive dubs from the world’s top producers and his own unique sound, east coast based NumberNin6 is ready to wreck havoc from shore to shore.
Nishant now silently waits within the eye of the storm that he has created for himself. On the brink of 4 EPs (including the debut release on Dieselboy’s new subHUMAN label), multiple collaborations and remixes, NumberNin6 now eagerly awaits the aftermath.
…Oh and he’s a full-time medical student.

Partners in Grime (PrEssHa & Kat1lyst) - Seattle // Kat1lyst - Bassdrop Music, Tap Tap Productions, Next Level PrEssHa - ECE, Rockit Science, C89.5
(Dubstep/Glitch)
In early 2008 two Seattle based musicians (and long time friends) who shared the same passion for pushing bass heavy Dub and Mid Tempo sounds hailing from the "left coast", combined their creative energy, forming the duo Partners in Grime.
Pressha's musical background began with hip hop and his love for all forms of music took off from there. After just a few years he became one of the most booked DJ's in the Seattle club scene while impressively staying current in five different genres of electronic music.
Kat1lyst made his name in the Seattle music scene as a break beat DJ under the name Frankie Dubs in 01' and continued to rock crowds for the next six years. Last year he decided to take a break from DJing to focus solely on music production.
The unique blend of deep melodies, heavy whomps, and funky glitched out laser bass that these two always serve up proper will leave you desperate for more.
Currently producing Glitch Hop and Mid Tempo music under Rockit Science productions, these two whomp-aholics have come together to blow out sound systems all over the world with bass lines so infectious it will be an all out epidemic on your ears.

Aaron Simpson - Seattle // Simplify, Marble
(Second Seattle Dubstep Set!!)
Aaron Simpson is a force to be reckoned with in the world of Drum and Bass. Since 1999, Simpson has been honing his craft and preparing himself for the bright future he is destined to have. With numerous mixed CDs under his belt, and recent production work receiving massive support, Aaron's journey is just beginning.
Heavily influenced by Andy C, Friction, & Reid Speed among others, Simpson's understanding and love for the music shines through in his energetic performances. His unique selection of intelligent rhythms and liquid bass lines elevate traditional drum and bass to new heights and push the genre itself outside the box. Technical skills second to none, his signature sound is gaining popularity across the world. Like many others, Aaron’s journey did not begin solely with dnb. In the late 1990s, he found inspiration amongst the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, & Armin where he began his trance roots. Inspiration evolved into boredom in 2002, when he made the nearly impossible switch to Drum and Bass
After regaining momentum with his new sound, Simpson found himself warming up dance floors across the west coast for everyone from Fresh to Ed Rush & Optical, and from Aphrodite to Dieselboy. Not to mention sharing bills with the likes of Andy C and Goldie among many other heavyweights. Headlining events all over the U.S. and Canada, has built Aaron a very extensive resume.
In 2006 Aaron hooked up with long-time friend Brian Abbey to co-produce "Never Far From Right". The tune received an overwhelmingly positive response, and the Subsonik remix was later picked up and released by Xposure Records UK. NFFR has been one of the most successful singles for Drum & Bass in 2007, and received 4 out of 5 stars by DJ Mag, making it an international success.
In 2009 Aaron founded Simplify Recordings. A multi-genre imprint dedicated to releasing quality electronic music from local NW artists and beyond. Keep an eye out for new produced tracks on the way, as Aaron blazes forth on the musical path he has spent nearly 10 years building.
